Off-site Visit Tuesday 8th May
The weather forecast for our off site visit tomorrow, Tuesday 8th May, is not very good.  It will hopefully be dry in the morning but light rain is expected in the afternoon. With this forecast, we will be going off-site so please make sure you send your child into school tomorrow with a waterproof coat and sensible shoes, maybe even wellies. Your child will need a packed lunch in a carrier bag. If your child has a free school meal, a packed lunch has been organised for you. If the weather is really wet tomorrow, we may have to reschedule.
Thank you for your continuing support.

4A Visit to Portsmouth Cathedral – Thursday 20th October

Dear Parents/ Carers of 4A children,

I would like to inform you about an exciting opportunity that we have been invited to take part in, next Thursday morning 20th October 2011 at Portsmouth City Cathedral from approx 0930 to 12 noon.

Our year group has been chosen to take part in several workshops with other local Portsmouth schools, to work together in a series of art, craft and social activities such as calligraphy, bell ringing and needlework. Our visit to a similar workshop last year, was a fantastic success and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will be travelling to the Cathedral in the school minibuses and will return to school before lunchtime.

We are asking for a £1.00 voluntary contribution from each child, to give to the cathedral so that we can attend.

Thank-you for your attention and on-going support.
Mrs Adams.
